I had the absolute pleasure of speaking to the Rotary Club of Caterham, set in the stunning surroundings of the Surrey National Golf Club in Chaldon.
The meal they served was exceptional but what truly made the day special were the people I met. Sharing my story with such an engaged and thoughtful audience was a real privilege. The conversations that followed were incredibly meaningful, hearing how my message of resilience resonated and inspired others is something I deeply treasure.
It’s days like this that remind me why I’m so passionate about public speaking: connecting with people, sharing experiences and hopefully leaving them feeling just a little bit stronger than before. Having my daughter Brooke with me made it even more special.
